Boni National Reserve

The Boni National Reserve is a national reserve for conservation and lies in the North Eastern Province of Kenya in the Ijara District. The reserve covers an area of over 1200 km2 and is managed by the Kenyan Wildlife Service. Arawale National Reserve

The Arawale National Reserve is a designated conservation area managed by the Garissa County in assistance with the Kenyan Wildlife Service. It lies in North Eastern Province of Kenya, 77 km south of the town of Garissa. The reserve covers an area of 450 km2. Mount Elgon National Park

Mount Kenya National Park

Mount Kenya National Park ( 0°07?26?S, 37°20?12?E), established in 1949, protects the region surrounding Mount Kenya. Initially is was a forest reserve before being announced as a national park. Currently the national park is within the forest reserve which encircles it. In April 1978 the area was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Meru National Park

Meru National Park is a Kenyan forest reserve located east of Meru, 350 km from Nairobi. Covering an area of 87,044 hectares, it is one the lesser known parks of Kenya. It has abundant rainfall, 635-762 mm in the west of the park and 305-356 mm in the east. The rainfall results in tall grass and lush swamps, which make it difficult to spot game.
